People often think of celebrities as almost otherworldly superheroes, far beyond everyday people. However, this could not be further from the truth. Stars are regular people, just like you and me. And, just like everyone else, they have friends and family who support them in their darkest hour. Not only that, but, just like many others around the world, many famous celebrities have siblings.
Of course, living in the shadow of some of the most famous people in the world cannot be easier. Just ask these celebrity siblings, many of whom have spent the majority of their lives trying to avoid the public eye!
1. Penelope and Monica Cruz

Apparently, the good genes run through all of the Cruz family. Penelope’s sister, Monica Cruz, has followed her sister’s steps, becoming an actress. While she’s not as successful as her sister, Monica is doing just fine on her own! Meanwhile, Penelope has actually helped her get some of her best work. You see, in 2010, Penelope became pregnant while filming Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. As filming continued, filmmakers hired Monica as her double for long-distance scenes to help hide the pregnancy!
2. Jennifer, Blaine, and Bel Lawrence

However, many don’t know that Lawrence has two older brothers! In fact, she’s the only girl in her family. Growing up with two boys has some unintended consequences. For instance, when Jennifer went to preschool, she had to stop playing with other girls, as she was “too rough” due to playing with her brothers for so long. What do her bothers do? Well, not even Jennifer is sure! “God, I don’t know, it’s something with computers,” she replied when asked the question.
3. Jayden, Willow, and Trey Smith

However, did you know that there’s another, older Smith sibling? Will Smith and his first wife, Sheree, had Trey Smith back in 1992. While he currently works as a DJ in Los Angeles, he hasn’t been quite as successful as his other siblings. Hopefully, he will be soon, though!
4. Ashton and Michael Kutcher

While you may have seen his romantic life unfold in front of the cameras, Kutcher is famously tight-lipped about his family life. So many don’t know that Kutcher is actually a twin! Michael Kutcher is his twin brother. Unfortunately, Michael suffers from a severe medical condition, cerebral palsy. Still, he’s a shining example of overcoming the disease, and Michael currently works as a spokesperson for a cerebral palsy advocacy organization, Reaching for the Stars.
5. Rihanna, Rorrey, and Rajad

While not on tour or in the office, Rihanna enjoys spending time with her family, including her parents and two brothers. The biggest pop sensation has two brothers, both younger, named Rorrey and Rajad. Reportedly, Rihanna is very close with her brothers and loves spending as much time together as they can. However, the singer says that it can be difficult, as her schedule is continuously filled!
6. Gisele and Patricia Bundchen

From the Victoria Secrets’ annual Angels Show to photoshoots with her equally famous husband, Tom Brady, Gisele has done it all. However, many don’t know that the renowned supermodel actually has a twin sister!
While Patricia Bundchen may not be a famous face like her sister, she’s the one that Gisele fans have to thank. That’s right, Patricia works as her sister’s manager, spokeswoman, and agent. Of course, Gisele always makes sure to highlight their close bond through her social media. “Thank you for being always there for me, since the very beginning,” she wrote last year on Instagram. “I love you so much.”
7. Lady Gaga and Natali

Along the way, she became the first person to win an Oscar, a Grammy, a Golden Globe, and a BFTA in one year. However, long before she became Lady Gaga, Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta was simply the older sister to Natali Germanotta. Thankfully, even after the pop star became popular and starting touring the world, Gaga and Natali’s bond remained intact. Natali even starred in her sister’s video for the song “Telephone.”
8. Chris, Liam, and Luke Hemsworth

While Chris took over the world as Thor in Marvels’ Cinematic Universe, Liam has also done well for himself, in series like The Hunger Games. Meanwhile, Liam also became frequent tabloid fodder when he dated and nearly married Miley Cyrus.
Still, many do not know that Chis and Liam have another brother, Luke Hemsworth, seen above right. While Luke is not as well-known as his two brothers just yet, he’s working on it by starring in the current HBO hit, Westworld. While not working, Luke enjoys spending most of his time at home with his wife and three children in their native Australia.
9. Nicole and Antonia Kidman

Not just a journalist, Antonia has also produced two instructional yoga videos and published two parenting books, one including a forward from Nicole. While the sisters were born in Australia, Nicole decided to move to America to pursue an acting career. Meanwhile, Antonia stayed put. It clearly paid off! We can’t wait to see what these famous siblings do next.

E! NewsMany know that Angelina Jolie has a very famous father, actor Jon Voight. However, Jolie has worked to become much more than a renowned daughter or even an iconic actress. Throughout her career, Jolie has put in considerable effort to make a positive change in the world.
But, there’s someone who knew Jolie long before she became an acting and philanthropic legend. And no, we’re not talking about Jon Voight. Instead, we’re talking about her brother, James Haven. The two have always had a very close relationship and even caused a stir on the 2000 Oscars’ red carpet when they were pictured kissing each other on the lips. “I’m so in love with my brother right now,” said Jolie at the time.
11. Zac and Dylan Efron

Efron rose to prominence after portraying lead role Troy Bolton in the High School Musical trilogy. Afterward, Afterward, Efron immediately became a heartthrob. Fortunately, Zac Efron actually has a brother! So there are two Efrons to swoon over!
Dylan Efron, Zac’s brother, is just four years younger than his famous sibling. “We live together, and we’re different in a lot of ways, but he’s really grounded. He lived a more normal life than I did growing up, so he’s a great barometer for me,” Zac said.
12. Scarlett and Hunter Johansson

While Johansson has never downplayed her family life, many still do not know that she has a twin sister! That’s right! However, it’s not an identical twin sister. Instead, Johansson has a fraternal twin brother named Hunter Johansson.
Hunter Johansson has also tried his luck in the acting industry, but has had a much harder time breaking into Tinseltown. Still, the twins always remain supportive of one another and often accompany one another on the red carpet. They also joined forces in the 1996 film, Manny & Lo.
13. Jennifer and Lynda Lopez

Like many others, Lopez has a younger unknown sibling, sister Lynda Lopez. Before becoming a fulltime mom, Lynda, who is two years younger than her sister, worked as a New York television journalist. Jennifer recently talked to Us Magazine about her sister. “I just love and respect her so much. She’s a single mom but not like I’m a single mom,” Lopez told the magazine. “I have a lot of help — she doesn’t.”

Believe it or not, Steph Curry’s is actually named Seth Curry! That must have been confusing growing up! Like Steph, Seth also plays in the NBA, on the Dallas Mavericks. Not only do the two siblings look similar, but Seth also has a very similar shooting touch as his famous brother, making them look nearly identical while playing!
15. Jared and Shannon Leto

Then, Leto decided to venture himself into the acting industry, and his career really took off. While you may not have heard of Leto’s older brother, Shannon, the two share many talents. In fact, Shannon is also a founding member of 30 Seconds to Mars and plays the drums while Leto signs. While the songwriter has sold over 15 million records worldwide with the band, his brothers remain the face of the group and considerably more famous.
16. Jude and Natasha Law

While not as famous as her bother, Jude’s sister Natasha Law has become quite a talented and accomplished artist. As an artist, she works in a combination of graphic illustration, photography, and styling. Over the years, the likes of Vogue, Max Mara, and Samsung have all hired Natasha for her work. Talk about a talented family!
17. Sofia and Sandra Vergara

Sofia’s sister, Sandra Vergara, has continued to work hard to make a name for herself, even after her sister became an icon.
Unfortunately, Sandra has not yet been able to achieve the same level of success as Sofia. Still, Sandra holds no ill will. “She is beloved by the public, and so being related to someone who is so dear is a good thing,” Sandra said last year. While Sandra had roles in television shows like CSI: Miami and The Bold and The Beautiful in the 2000s and 2010s, she has not starred in anything in some years. We hope to see her soon!
18. Owen, Luke and Andrew Wilson

Not only that, but Eric has shown he’s a talented photographer by taking maternity pictures of his sister after she announced one of her pregnancies.
