Fans love watching fit wrestlers fight it out inside the ring. It’s fun to see them fight, but some people speak to each plot about the story. Pro wrestling was claimed to be identical to equal soap operas. You get the same amount of controversy, but stylish costumes and more excitement are visible. In real life, wrestlers are not really the way they seem. Where would they now be?

Razor Ramon

Scott Oliver Halls may have been born with that name, but he’ll be recognized as Razor Roman by wrestling fans. In the 1980s, he started in the ring. However, only after he joined the WWF and the WCW did he get his big break in the 1990s. Four times he captured the intercontinental WWF Title. Unfortunately, his well-being seemed very poor. Pneumonia, epilepsy, and low blood pressure have been admitted over the years.

You certainly don’t know Glenn Thomas Jacobs, but you probably remember Kane. Well, he’s one of the world’s most famous wrestlers. You realized he was already an athlete, a senator, and an entrepreneur? He starred in See No Evil, an amazing location for him to look at as an actress. He was also a national activist in 2018, securing the Knox County Mayor’s Seat the same year.



Sid Vicious

Sid Vicious must be credited with helping pro wrestling get to where it is today. He started in the 1980s and became an advocate of wrestling. Known as The Great Khali, Dalip Singh Rana is an Indian-born American wrestler. On top of that, he’s a model, promoter, and actor. All the same, he’s most famous for his time with WWE. As a matter of fact, he’s the first Indian to win the World Heavyweight Championship in the history of WWE. While his wrestling career took off in 2000, it wasn’t until 2006 that he became the famous figure he is today. Before starting to wrestle, he was once an officer for the Punjab Police. Aside from wrestling, he’s appeared in Hollywood movies, Bollywood movies, and TV shows.



Mideon

Dennis Knight has used many titles over the ages. Godwin and Tex Slazenger were called Phineas I, but most of the supporters know him only as Mideon. He became a chef after graduating from pro wrestling. He’s operating in Florida, Clearwater. Try his food if you’re ever going there!



Kelly Kelly

Are you aware that Barbara Jean Blank is Kelly’s legal name? In addition to wrestling, she also worked as a TV character and model. She has been in a host of films and TV shows over the years. It covers WAGS and Our Lives days. She opted to leave WWE in 2012!

And here’s another wrestler who indiscriminately marked the pro wrestling environment. Now in California, William Scott Goldberg is running his own gym, staying with his wife and son. His popular point is that he was unbeaten during his days in the ring for over a year.

The Undertaker

The wrestler universe under the name of the organization was made by Mark William Calaway. He continues to play as a free agent in matches from time to time. He won 17 titles in the past and was one of the industry’s most hated individuals. Apart from wrestling, he also went on to the property! Right now, he and his wife have the fund that they set up with their passion for dealing with animals.


The Rock

We are optimistic that you know Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. You don’t even need to be a wrestler fan to know who he is! He has also overshadowed his performing career on the ring. Once upon a time, Times magazine named him one of the world’s most influential individuals. He is also charitable as well as creative and well-looking. He has also started a fund for children suffering from terminal diseases.

Hulk Hogan

You may recognize Hulk Hogan while you are not the greatest fan of wrestling. He created a legacy to manufacturing, born Terre Gene Bollea. He also acted as a TV guy, entrepreneur, guitarist, and actor outside of the organization. How much he has done is terrific! Were you aware that he has his own energy drinks and fitness website? In 2007, when passing through a hobby, he made a tough patch and lost almost half of his belongings. We are pleased that from then on, he continued to recover.

Tugboat

Fred Ottman is known as the Tugboat and the Typhoon with various nicknames. As another survivor of the Natural Disasters, he was once an ally of Hulk Hogan. He has long failed and is undoubtedly worth quitting. In 2001, he left the sport and instead began to serve as a safety officer. He also offers training for young children and coaches teams in the League!

Big Show

The pro wrestler is sometimes nicknamed the Giant. In the past, he received countless major international championships. He was also involved in the acting industry some time back. You should have retaken him in a few television programs and films like the Knucklehead comedy flick.

Stacy Keibler

If you aren’t a wrestling fan, you probably know Stacy Keibler from George Lopez, What About Brian, and How I Met Your Mother. Are you aware that she was a cheerleader at one point in time too? In 2013, she got to host Supermarket Superstar and was on the runaway. At the moment, she is married to Jared Pobre. They have two kids.

The Ultimate Warrior

James Brian Hellwig, who was nicknamed Ultimate Warrior or Dingo Warrior, was admired by his fans. He liked wrestling so much that he officially changed his name to Warrior in 1993! There was a moment when people thought that he had died and had a new warrior impersonated him. The fact, though was that he died at the age of 54 in 2014 of a heart attack.

Ric Flair

Ric Flair is one of the greatest wrestlers in history with 16 championship titles. He also rectified it and said the right number was 21. In September 2011, his last match was played. In addition to his long career in wrestling, he also shot acting. Unfortunately, after overdosing Xanax and opium, his younger son died. It was rough for him.

Macho Man

We disagree the Macho Guy Randy Savage can be unknown! He had a career that lasted over 32 years. He claimed 29 international names. He’s been in Baywatch, Spider-Man, and Ready to Rumble in the past. He died on the road in 2011. People finally learned that his heart was affected and he died.

Rey Mysterio

Oscar Gutierrez was given the name, Rey Mysterio. The masked warrior charmed millions of fans from all over the country. He made headlines in the field in the ’90s and ’00s, offering his Lucha Libre mask. In the past, he has captured the WWE Cruiserweight Title, the World Heavyweight Championship and the World Championship. A lot of people are surprised by how much he’s aged. He hardly looks older than he has in the past. He remains active in House of Glory, QPW, and Black Destiny Wrestling.

Sunny

Tammy Lyn Sytch, known as Sunny, has gained a reputation for herself as a wrestler. Unfortunately, her family affairs were pretty chaotic. She was convicted in 2017 for liquor and narcotics problems. Because of all the bad press, WWE cut her off. There were reports that she showed up for rehabilitation and attempted to get her on track. Let us hope that in the end, things turn out for her.

Chyna

Back in the ’90s, Joan Marie Laurer achieved fame under the ring name of Chyna. She was also the first successful female wrestler ever! She deserves a lot of credit for setting the stage for other women in the industry. The talented wrestler earned the accolades and honors that she had won in the past. Besides wrestling, she soon began writing and publishing an autobiography. In 2016, however, she died following an overdose of medications. RIP. RIP.

Lex Luger – $3 Million

It’s no secret that Lex Luger is one of the greatest wrestlers in history. He’s won the WCW World Heavyweight Championship once as well as the United States Championship no less than five times. He’s also competed in WWF, although he didn’t win the title there. In 2007, something terrible happened: he suffered from a nerve impingement in his spine that left him paralyzed. Thankfully, the paralysis was temporary and by 2010, he’d recovered. Today, he works for WWE and is a member of their wellness policy team.

Sable

Let us not overlook Rena Marlette Lesnar on the matter of female WWE wrestlers. You probably recognize her as Sable instead, though. We’re not shocked that she’s been an actor and role model in the past. It was in Corky Romano and Pacific Blue. So far, she has been married three times throughout the years. She tied the knot with her fellow wrestler, Brock Lesnar, in 2006.

Paige

English professional wrestler, Paige first entered the wrestling scene when she was just 13 years old as she is part of a major wrestling family. Even though she continued to wrestle for roughly another 13 years, she decided to retire in 2018. Since then she has been part of many big and small screen projects, one of them includes being part of the film, Fighting With My Family which is based on her life. The 28-year-old has also featured in Scobby-Doo! and Total Divas.

The Coach

Jonathan Coachman, also known as the Coach, no longer stands within the arena but is still involved in the sector. This time, he’s a commentator for the Raw brand. In 2018, he retired from WWE and made people ask if he was going to come back. He’s happily married now, and he has two daughters.

As the CEO, President, and director of WWE, Mr. McMahon just might be the most famous guy in the business. Vincent Kennedy McMahon has worked as an entrepreneur, actress, and film director. Apart from that stuff, he also appears to own Alpha Entertainment. The billionaire loves to lavish his cash on yachts, mansions, etc.

Yokozuna

Next, we’ve got the first Samoan warrior! Rodney Agatupa Anoa’i is best known among the wrestling fans as Yokozuna. Did you guys know that he was the first Samoan racer to win the World Heavyweight Championship? In 2000, his corpse was found in his hotel room at the age of 34. His cause of death was believed to be a cardiac arrest, but it was pulmonary edema.

Jacqueline

Jacqueline DeLois Moore is not just a boxer, but she is also a wrestling manager. There are only three women in the Cruiserweight Championship, and she’s one of them. Over the years, she’s appeared in the film, computer games, and TV shows. She was a mentor for the MTV series called Rough Times. We were pleasantly surprised when we learned that she was in her 60s and still looking like that.

Stone Cold Steve Austin

Unfortunately, Steve Austin retired from pro wrestling because of his injury. Yet he won six World Championship titles in his best shape! He did not wholly resign since he ventured into an acting career after that. You may have seen him at Nash Bridges and The Expendables. At the moment, it is estimated that he has a net worth of $45 million, which is absolutely unbelievable.

Mick Foley

In the past, Michael Francis used various ring names: Cactus Jack, Mankind, Dude Love, and Mick Foley. He quit the field of wrestling a bit too soon to satisfy his followers. He has acted as a television figure and an actress in the past. Have you seen him in Boy Meets World? Anyway, he’s now a philanthropist who supports children in need and enjoys his days with his wife and four children.

Batista

David Michael Bautista, better known as Batista, is a former fighter who is now embracing all the benefits that his career has to bring. He’s been active in bodybuilding, martial arts, and acting in the past! When it comes to his film career, he’s best known for portraying “Drax” in Marvel movies. There was a period when the police were trying to frame him for taking steroids, but that wasn’t real.

Randy Orton

Are you aware that Randy Orton is still involved in this industry? The aspiring actor was in a show called That’s Who I Am. Now he’s playing inside the Smackdown brand ring. It was suspected that he was abusing steroids in 2007. He declines to speak about all this up to this day. In 2013, he and his first partner, Samantha Speno, got divorced. Two years later, Kimberly Kessler was struck.

Back in the day, Adam Joseph Copeland used the ring name of Edge. The World War Hall of Famer finally quit the ring to make his mark at acting! He’s got ‘edged’ by other athletes for 31 championship championships. He also published an autobiography in 2004. People were shocked to hear he disliked cigarettes! He clarified that when he was a teenager, he sought one of them back. He just didn’t know why it was so famous.

Lita

In 2006, Amy “Lita” Dumas stopped wrestling. Back then, at one stage, she was already a dancer and a musician! She’s got a trio of her own called the Luchagors. The band announced their album a year after she quit. In 1999, she went under a procedure for breast enhancement! She’s now working as a WWE consultant. Though she’s related to Joseph Copeland and Matt Hardy, she’s still single.

Shawn Michaels

Born Michael Shawn Hickenbottom, Shawn Michaels is a professional wrestler who’s a famous TV star. Besides performing, he also served as a TV host! He is the chief ambassador of WWE and the host of the Shawn Michaels River Adventures. He’s been remarried over the years! The most recent will have been his engagement to Rebecca. The two of them tied the knot in 1999, and they had two daughters.

Alundra Blayze

In 1988, Alundra Blayze made headlines as the first woman pro wrestler to be recognized in the Rookie of the Year by Pro Wrestling. Her full name is Debrah Ann Miceli. She’s crazy about huge trucks and attempted her luck as an actor after she left. She has played in Shootfighter and Death Match in the past. She’s been married twice in the past.

Tio Huffman’s Robert Booker is mainly remembered as Booker T. He was able to gather a massive fan on his way into his ring. He has resigned, has 6 world championships, and 21 other titles don’t really change. He is an adviser and supporter of color. Did you know that in over 27 video games, he published two books and appeared?

Triple H

Fun fact: Triple H refers to the ring name Paul Michel Levesque Hunter Hearts Helmsley. He got his start at acting and industry during his wrestling days. He struck Stephanie McMahon in 2003. In 2003. This enabled him to play some roles in this field. He is an entrepreneur and is vice president of talent, live experiences, and creative work at WWE. He and his wife built a foundation named Connor’s Cure to battle and remember a boy who died from Medulloblastoma.

Chris Benoit

His successes will still be overshadowed by the family’s loss when he enjoyed a great time in the arena. Benoit murdered his son and wife in June 2007 by Christopher Michael Benoit. He took his own life two days after that. Most were surprised by what happened. What happened. Fans claim that after accidents in the ring, he had brain damage. On its website, WWE deleted all detail on it.

Trish Stratus

Who assumed that the youngest player in the WWE Hall of Fame is Trish Stratus? She has also been employed as a gym, television, and actor in the past. She is now operating a renowned yoga center, Born Patricia Anne Strategies. It began service in 2008, and it’s lovely.

Brian “Crush” Adams

He was indeed a member of the WCW and WWF, while Brian Adams was an involved wrestler. At the time, he was an immense success with the fans. He decided to pursue boxing after he left pro wrestling. His injuries sadly did not help him to follow the effort in full. At the age of 43, he died in 2007.

Big Boss Man

It’s best known as Big Boss Man to Ray Washington Taylor Jr. He was added to the Hall of Fame in 2016! Sadly, he wasn’t around at the time. When he was only 41 years old, he died suddenly. After a cardiac arrest, the wrestler died in 2004 and left a wife and two daughters behind.

Mark Henry

He was still making headlines as a weightlifter and power-lifer when Mark Henry joined the world of wrestling. He should adapt to a pro-wrestling world without a hitch due to his ability. He captured the World WWE Heavyweight championship in 2011. He went into the Hall of Fame in 2016.

Paul Bearer

This person was not in the ring, but he served as the promoter for legendary rivals such as Kane and The Undertaker. At one time, it was out of control of its weight. Paul Bearer was given a stomach bypass operation to shed 200 pounds while weighted 500 libraries. A heart attack killed him in 2013.

Jeff Hardy

Jeff Hardy was a Team Xtreme part with his brother and Lita. In the past, he had multiple valuable championships, including the Heavyweight World Championship and the WWE Championship. The pro wrestler is also an avid music-lover. He formed a band called PeroxWhy?Gen when he left wrestling.

Matt Hardy

How do we miss Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy’s elder brother? He’s a prominent wrestler and has bagged several championship straps in the past. Once he was in a relationship with Lita, things changed as soon as he knew she had fooled him with Edge. Matt remains involved to this day, unlike Jeff.

X-Pac

As Sean Waldman made headlines in the industry in the 1990s, he used the ring name X-Pac. He began with WWF but works with WWE now. He was a significant addition to the cruiserweight and the Tag team. We are happy to learn that by training out at the gym, he stays healthy and athletic.

Kurt Angle

While Kurt Angle was at university, he was pro only in the nineties. In those days, he won multiple awards and tournaments. He took his chance with the other companies after spending some time at WWE. At Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, he still found lots of success. Unfortunately, he has lately dealt with many health conditions and accidents.

Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho was yet another WWE celebrity hit in the 1990s. He won three times the title of the World Heavyweight Championship. He entered Japan Pro-Wrestling later and stays there up to now! Although he remains involved in the ring, he is also an investor. He is co-owner of the sports and rehabilitation department D1.

Ken Shamrock

Were you aware that after his tenure in TNA and WWF, Ken Shamrock became the first fighter to earn the UFC Superfight Championship? He wanted to abandon pro-wrestling for more intense martial arts. His success has been plentiful. His 2 sons have appeared in the MMA, but they did not excel.

Owen Hart

Many parts of the Hart family took part in the pro wrestler, so it was sensible for Owen Hart to pursue the same industry. He’s got a lot of titles for his tag! Unfortunately, his death just got so much more devastating. When a belt went loose, he fell from the top rope in 1999. Following the freak crash, he disappeared.

Rick Steiner

Under the name of Rick Steiner, Robert Rechsteiner found success as a pro-wrestler. He was in WCW and doing intense wrestling in the Tag Team. Currently, he was eight different times capturing the World Tag Team Title. He then decided to concentrate on a career as a real estate broker after leaving pro-wrestling.


Billy Kidman

Another famous pro wrestler from the ’90s, Billy Kidman rose to fame through the WWF and WCW. On top of that, he was a member of groups such as the Filthy Animals, Raven’s Flock, and the New Blood. However, he’s been in feuds with some big names, like Hulk Hogan and Jeff Jarrett. Throughout his successful career, he’s won plenty of titles and championships. Nowadays, the retired wrestler has been busy working as a producer for WWE.

Tito Santana

Back in the ’70s, Tito Santana became famous for his incredible skills in the ring. He made his claim to fame in WWF and won several titles over there. During his time with WWF, he won many titles. He was the WWF Intercontinental Heavyweight Champion twice! In fact, he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2004. After he retired from wrestling, he began working as a Spanish teacher and basketball coach at Eisenhower Middle School.

Damien Sandow

Damien Sandow, otherwise known as Aaron Stevens, is a wrestler who launched his career relatively late but still went on to succeed in the field. Using names like Idol Stevens and Aron Rex, he’s known as being a great impersonator. He’s won one title so far, the WWE Tag Team Championship. While he left the world of wrestling in 2016, he returned in 2019 and is now a wrestler in the independent circuit.

Diamond Dallas Page

You don’t have to be a huge wrestling fan to know that Diamond Dallas Page had plenty of success throughout his career. He worked in the TNA, WWF, and WCW over the years and has won the WCW World Heavyweight Champion three times. On top of that, he’s won the WCW United States Heavyweight Champion twice and the WCW World Tag Team Champion four times! He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2017. Today, he’s retired and working as a radio host at DDP and also offers a program named Yoga for Regular Guys.

Kamala

James Harris, known in the ring as Kamala, was a famous wrestler whose face paint could be recognized by anyone. At the start of his career, he would be known for wrestling in a loincloth, bare feet, and wielding a spear and shield when entering the ring. He had numerous runs at the WWE, between 1984 and 1993. Up until 2010, he would go in and out of retirement when it came to wrestling. However, once he retired for good, he had to deal with diabetes, eventually losing both legs. In 2020, he passed away.

The Russian Bear

Known as the Russian Bear, Ivan Koloff instilled fear in his opponents in the ring. During his time wrestling with WWF in the ’60s, he won the WWF World Heavyweight Championship. In 1993, he retired from wrestling but returned to the ring in 2004. In 1995, he was reborn again as a Christian and became an ordained minister. He even wrote a couple of books about his life and experiences. Sadly, he too passed away – in 2017.

John Nord

John Nord, otherwise known as Nord the Barbarian or the Berzerker in the ring, is a retired pro wrestler. He joined the WCCW in 1987 – after he already began his wrestling career. Later on, he joined AWA as well. He would often change his ring name to keep things interesting. However, he later began using his legal name. Throughout his career, he won many matches. He retired in 2002 and now works at a car dealership with his brother.

Jake “The Snake” Roberts

We highly doubt that any wrestling fans could ever forget about Jake “The Snake” Roberts. He wrestled in the TNA, WWF, NWA, ECW, and WCW throughout his career. One of his niches was bringing snakes to matches, explaining the thought behind his nickname. His favorite snake was Damien the Python. While he’s been dealing with some health issues since his retirement, he still appears in wrestling matches occasionally.

Rowdy Roddy Piper

Known as Rowdy Roddy Piper, Roderick George Toombs spent over 30 years in the wrestling scene.  In matches, he would always take on the villainous roles. Over the course of his career, he accumulated 34 championships, leading to him being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005. In addition to wrestling, he acted in movies and TV shows. While he went in and out of retirement for years, his final retirement was in 2012. Unfortunately, he passed away in 2015.

Marc Mero

Marc Mero used the name Johnny B. Bad in the ring during his successful wrestling career. However, when he first started out, he used his legal name. Once he retired from the world of wrestling and boxing, he became a motivational speaker. He uses his past experiences to give others hope and educate young people on keeping to a healthy lifestyle. Additionally, he wrote a book about his life and all the hardships he’s been through.

Debra

Queen Debra was at the height of her fame as a pro wrestler in the 1990s. Wrestling with WCW, she won several titles over the course of her career. Still, she’s not as popular as her ex-husband, Steve Austin. It’s sad to hear about how he was arrested for domestic abuse. When she joined the WWF in 1998, Queen Debra began going by Debra. She won the WWF Women’s Championship in 1999.

Big Van Vader

Big Van Vader competed in WCW, WWF, and New Japan Pro Wrestling over the course of his career. Whoever wanted to prove their wrestling skills would have to take on Big Van to do so. He has an incredibly successful career. He was inducted into the Wrestling Observer Newsletter Hall of Fame in 1996. He’s considered to be one of the greatest super-heavyweight professional wrestlers of all time. Sadly, he passed away in 2018 from ongoing health issues.

Kevin Nash

Once Kevin Nash entered the world of WWE, he co-founded a group named the New World Order with fellow wrestlers, Scott Hall and Hulk Hogan. Later in his career, he became part of WCW as well and won the WCW World Heavyweight Championship twice. Kevin was inducted individually into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2015 and in 2020 as a member of the New World Order. Now semi-retired, Kevin takes part in matches every now and again while also taking up some acting.

The Honky Tonk Man

Known as the Honky Tonk Man in the ring, Wayne Farris wrestled for WCW and WWF. He’s most famous for his time with WWF (now WWE) since he held the WWF Intercontinental Championship for a record 64 weeks. Fun fact, fellow pro wrestler Jerry Lawler is his cousin! In 2019, Wayne was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Now retired, Wayne is known for his spot-on impersonation of Elvis Presley.

Jimmy Snuka

Jimmy Snuka, who came up with the “Superfly Splash”, was a pro wrestler who peaked in the 1980s. He was the inaugural ECW World Heavyweight Champion twice. In 1996, he was inducted into the WWF Hall of Fame. In 2015, he was arrested in response to his girlfriend’s death in 1983. However, he was deemed unfit to stand trial due to his deteriorating dementia. Sadly, he passed away not long after that.

Stephanie McMahon

It’s a known fact that the McMahon family has a long history with the WWE. Stephanie McMahon is actually the fourth generation to compete in the franchise. She held the WWF Women’s Championship once but mainly focused on the business side of the industry. After she retired from wrestling, she began working as a CBO promoter instead. In 2003, and wrestler Triple H got married. Ever since, she’s been the creative director for WWE.

Rico

Rico Constantino was known only by his first name in the ring. Well, he’s a huge WWE figure. Before he joined WWE, he appeared in the Empire Wrestling Federation. He retired from wrestling in 2005 – rather early – to pursue a career in law enforcement. He became a Sergeant Inspector for the Nevada Taxi Cab Authority in 2006. However, he began suffering from health problems like concussions in 2016.

Garbage Man

Known as the Garbage Man in the ring, Duke Droese earned this nickname after he debuted in WWF and brought along a garbage can to his fights. He began his wrestling career in the 1990s and kept going until 2001 when he retired. All the same, he made a couple of one-night appearances in 2001 and 2019. After he left the world of wrestling, Duke became a special education teacher in Tennessee.

Gigantic Kurrgan

You might know Robert Maillet from his roles in movies and TV shows, but he was actually a pro wrestler before he became a successful actor. His persona was of a vampire, so it goes without saying that he was intimidating. Nowadays, he’s competing under New Era Pro Wrestling. Not much has changed in terms of his appearance or wrestling skills. It turns out that his “fangs” are the result of dental implants that he got at the beginning of his career – each one cost him more than $10,000.
