JACLYN SMITH, 73 YEARS OLD

An American actress and businesswoman, Jaclyn Smith is most famous for her role as Kelly Garrett on Charlie’s Angels. She’s appeared in multiple Hollywood movies and even launched her own perfume and clothing brand back in the ’80s. There is no denying that Hal Holbrook is one of the most gifted men the industry has ever seen. He actually got his breakthrough when he played Mark Twain in a production of a one-man play. Since then, his acting resume kept getting longer and longer. As a true testament to his versatility, he has done television, film, and stage work. Cicely Tyson used to be a fashion model before she was able to become a famous African-American actress. She has appeared on various projects on both the stage and screen. We are sure you still remember her amazing performance as Constantine Bates in the movie The Help. It certainly appears as if nothing will ever make the 93-year-old star stop acting as she still very much active this day. Moreover, we would definitely have guessed her to be much younger if we didn’t know her actual age.



LEX LUGER, 60 YEARS OLD

The professional wrestler Lex Luger used to go by the moniker “The Total Package.” You can say that his career peaked back in the 80’s and 90’s when he competed in both the World Championship Wrestling and the World Wrestling Federation. Luger actually played football as well, and he even played for the Miami Hurricanes in the NFL! However, he had to completely quit sports when he suffered a spinal stroke in 2007. He is still active in the WWE, though nowadays he works as a member of the Wellness Policy team instead of in front of the camera.


TONY BENNETT, 92 YEARS OLD

Achieving the age of 92 years old is considered to be a major milestone in itself! What more when the same geriatric can still hit every note in his songs? That is the reality when you are Tony Bennett. Did you know that he actually went to New York’s School of Industrial Arts to take up studying? He has been a familiar face in the industry ever since the 50’s, and he continues to perform even until now. He is likely best known for singing, “I Left My Heart in San Francisco,” and he is believed to be worth a whopping $200 million.

We all watched as the star Eva Marie Saint continued to enjoy a successful and lengthy career. The actress makes an even bigger impression when you take into account that she has been active in the show business ever since the ’40s! Who could ever forget her iconic performance in the drama film On The Waterfront opposite Marlon Brando? Her work on the black and white film earned her the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress in 1955! JULIE GIBSON, 105 YEARS OLD

Julie Gibson was born in Washington and is known for her wonderful singing and acting during the 1940s. She began her career by singing with the Jimmie Grier Orchestra. She later joined the cast of Joe Penner’s radio program. Her initial film appearances were in smaller roles, but over time she worked her way up to starring in films like Chick Carter and Detective. As her career progressed she expanded her horizons and took more roles in different kinds of movies as well as working abroad as well. Today she is actually the oldest performer from the ‘Golden Age’  who is still alive.

DEAN STOCKWELL, 82 YEARS OLD

On the off-chance that you do not remember him, we would like to remind you that Dean Stockwell starred on the show Quantum Leap among other projects! However, do not forget that he has been in the industry even before then. He actually started acting when he was only 7 years old, and his first credit was as Gregory Peck’s son in the drama film Gentleman’s Agreement. His final acting credit dates back to 2015, and it is safe to say that he has since retired.


BILLY DEE WILLIAMS, 82 YEARS OLD

The American singer and actor, Billy Dee Williams is most known for his iconic role in Star Wars as Lando Calrissian. He made his first appearance in 1980, in The Empire Strikes Back. Not to mention he was also involved in other popular productions like Brian’s Song in 1971. He also played in movies like Lady Sings the Blues and 1982’s Batman. A retired competitive bodybuilder, Bolo Yeung is a martial artist as well as a martial arts film director. He is normally cast as the villain in the movies he stars in. He’s most known for his appearances in Enter the Dragon with Bruce Lee, Bloodsport with Jean-Claude Van Damme, and Bloodfight with Yasuaki Kurata and Simon Yam. Rhonda Fleming, 95 Years Old

Rhonda Fleming might have appeared in around forty films over the course of her career, though her breakthrough came with the release of the Alfred Hitchcock movie Spellbound. She was called “The Queen of Technicolor” for her flaming red hair and ghostly complexion which made for an interesting look when Technicolor was the norm. After she stopped acting, she started doing more charity work. She has a particular focus on healthcare and medical insurance. In 1991, she founded the Rhonda Fleming Mann Clinic for Women’s Comprehensive Care in UCLA Medical Center with her then-husband Ted Mann.

She has since entered retirement, though a lot of people are still thankful they can watch her whenever the reruns go on air. We are sure that she must have accumulated a lot of money during her active years in the industry, though she still receives royalties from the best-selling memoir she released in the year 2011.


NORMAN LLOYD, 103 YEARS OLD

Another impressive legend on our list is none other than actor Norman Lloyd. At the age of 103, he has certainly been around to witness multiple important moments in history. He also spent a lot of time hanging out with other notable people from the industry. Acting aside, he has also dipped his toes in producing and directing. He has spent eighty years in show business and he has worked with people like Orson Welles and Alfred Hitchcock. Oh, how can we forget to mention his friendship with Charlie Chaplin? RICHARD CHAMBERLAIN, 84 YEARS OLD

Richard Chamberlain got his big break when he landed the lead starring role in the NBC series Dr. Kildare. We bet the older readers recall him as the young intern James Kildare who works at the fictional Blair General Hospital! The success of the drama show gave him plenty of acting opportunities for both the big screen and the stage as well. You will find him in King Solomon’s Mines, The Bourne Identity, and The Thorn Birds. You might have a hard time believing someone else played Jason Bourne before Matt Damon, but it’s true. SIDNEY POITIER, 91 YEARS OLD

Sidney Poitier is another great Hollywood actor, and he made a name for himself when he became the first African-American man to take home an Oscar. It was his work on the 1963 film Lilies of the Field that earned him the Best Actor award. The Bahamian-American star received a knighthood from Queen Elizabeth II all the way back in 1974. Apart from acting, he also has directing and producing credits under his belt. He might no longer be in the prime of his life, though we are sure Poitier is doing just fine!

CARL REINER, 96 YEARS OLD

There is no denying the fact that Carl Reiner is a talented man. He is an actor, director, writer, and singer. He is probably best known for working with the likes of Dick Van Dyke and Mel Brooks. For younger readers, he is probably known for playing Saul in the Ocean’s Eleven film series. Back in the 2016 Presidential Elections, he publicly endorsed Bernie Sanders for the primaries. The actor is believed to have a net worth of approximately $70 million, though we are sure it is only due to further increase since he continues to act!

DIAHANN CARROLL, 83 YEARS OLD

Bob Barker is a well-loved celebrity for his work on game shows. Perhaps you even remember him for hosting The Price is Right for 35 years! Apart from this, he also had hosting gigs for the beauty pageants like Miss Universe and Miss USA. He has gone into retirement, though it is probably for the best.

DEBBIE HARRY, 73 YEARS OLD

The 73-year-old performer has an impressive musical resume, though we should not neglect to mention her modeling and acting work as well. She has served as the lead vocalist for the new wave musical group Blondie. Do the songs Heart of Glass, Rapture, and Call Me ring any bells? We’ve talked about Julie Andrews, so how can we fail to mention her The Sound of Music co-star? Actor Christopher Plummer played Captain Von Trapp in the movie, and he continues to act. Do not make the mistake of thinking that he is a weak and fragile man just because he is now 88 years old! It seems like he is not banking on retiring any time soon. LONI ANDERSON, 73 YEARS OLD

We can’t possibly miss out on mentioning the lovely Loni Anderson! After the show ended, Stanis would only star in TV shows such as The Cosby Show, The Love Boat, and The Parent Hood. Priscilla, brought Elvis Presley Enterprises to new heights, and she was able to transform their daughter’s inheritance to a $100 million!

LINDSAY WAGNER, 69 YEARS OLD

Lindsay Wagner is no longer as active in the entertainment industry as she once was, though we doubt people will ever forget that she was the “Bionic Woman.” The way she portrayed Jaime Sommers in the sci-fi drama Bionic Woman was remarkable. Her career might have slowed down by the time the late 90’s rolled in, though she remains passionate about directing and acting. As a matter of fact, she now spends a lot of her time as a professor at the San Bernardino Valley College. It is not even surprising to hear how far Mark Harmon was able to make it. His good looks feel like they were tailor-made for the camera! Ask anyone what role they remember Tina Louise for and we can guarantee you that the answer will, without fail, be Ginger Grant from the show Gilligan’s Island. Louise kept acting even when the series wrapped up filming, though she mostly landed minor parts in TV and film projects. Isn’t it fascinating to learn that she turned down the opportunity to reprise her role in the sequels of Gilligan’s Island? Sadly, the majority of the show’s cast members have passed away with the sole exception of her and Dawn Wells.

Kim Novak has acted in many great Hollywood films together with other notable figures in the entertainment industry. The list includes people like Frank Sinatra, William Holden, and Fred MacMurray! However, we are willing to bet that her most prominent performance was for Alfred Hitchcock’s Vertigo where she starred opposite actor James Stewart. Stan Lee is now 95 years old, though he does not let his age get in the way of his success and fame! In fact, many members of the younger generation admire him for making their favorite comic books. Without him, Marvel characters like Captain America, Thor, Spiderman, the Hulk, and Iron Man wouldn’t exist! Yes, this also means the Avengers movies you so love would not have existed. How terrible would that have been?! We are glad to hear that Stan Lee is still strong, though he did start wearing a pacemaker after he fighting a heart ailment. He might have officially retired, though we do enjoy catching him in the Marvel Cinematic Universe installments. What a living legend!

NANETTE FABRAY, 97 YEARS OLD

Did you know that Nanette Fabray started her performing career in the vaudeville at the tender age of three? It’s true! She honed her singing and tap dancing skills there, and she later started starring in musical theatre shows before making her way to the big screen. As a young girl, she was convinced that she must have a learning disability since she was not performing well at school. However, it turned out that the Tony and Emmy Award winner has been suffering from conductive hearing loss the whole time! Her diagnosis motivated her into becoming a deaf people rights advocate, and her work in this cause outlasted her Hollywood career.

GEORGE H. W. BUSH, 94 YEARS OLD

Did you know that the 41st President of the United States also worked as an aviator and a businessman? When the Second World War was ongoing, he joined the Navy as a naval aviator. He did many things as the former head of state of the most powerful nation in the world, some bad, some good. Among other things, he helped launch the George Bush Presidential Library in Texas A&M University. The younger generation probably remembers him best as the father of the 43rd POTUS.

JIMMY CARTER, 94 YEARS OLD

There is yet another nonagenarian US President who made it to our list! Aside from George H. W. Bush, the 94-year-old former President Jimmy Carter is still alive and kicking. As the 39th POTUS, his biggest accomplishment has to go be his foreign policy. Up to this day, he continues to fight for human rights. He is believed to be worth somewhere around $7 million. A lot of people were heartbroken when he was diagnosed with metastatic cancer, though we were relieved that he survived it!

DAWN WELLS, 79 YEARS OLD

We already mentioned her earlier when we talked about her costar, though Mary Ann Summers of Gilligan’s Island is deserving of a spot of her own. Dawn Wells has retired from acting, though she continues to be passionate about it. After all, she still takes the time to help in local theatre projects and even handles acting classes. Now 79 years old, she lives in Driggs, Idaho and spends her days running a clothing brand for disabled people called the Wishing Wells Collections.

VERA LYNN, 101 YEARS OLD

Vera Lynn, better known as “The Forces’ Sweetheart,” is an English pop singer-songwriter. Aside from her musical talents, she has also dabbled in acting. She received her nickname because her musical career began during the Second World War, and she was asked to sing to comfort and entertain the soldiers. Interestingly, she recently released an album entitled ‘Vera Lynn 100’ in commemoration of her 100th birthday!
