Animators love to put Easter eggs into cartoons. How many of you noticed that WALL-E, leaving the planet, held on to the first satellite launched in the USSR?

№ 10. Ice Age

Many pictures that the characters see in a cave on their journey are, in fact, a precise copy of rock paintings created about 15,000 years ago.

№ 9. Beauty and the Beast

When Lumière, Cogsworth, and Mrs. Potts hold a council, you can see a famous painting on the wall: Girl with a Pearl Earring.

№ 8. Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa

The sequel is just full of hidden messages. For example, when Alex greets the denizens of Africa, you can see a spot on his paw in the shape of the continent, including nearby Madagascar.

№ 7. The Secret Life of Pets

Funny parallels are also favored here. When Pops, the old Basset Hound, professes his feelings toward Chloe, he says the famous ending line from Some Like It Hot: "Nobody’s perfect."

№ 6. Moana

The rug on the wall where the kids listen to the legends depicts Marshmallow, the fearsome ice guardian conjured by Elsa in Frozen.

Did Maui’s famous hook look familiar to you? It should: we’ve seen it in Lilo and Stitch, on David’s necklace.

№ 5. Aladdin

Aladdin himself had been first based on Michael J. Fox (Back to the Future). But the producers thought he looked too much like a little boy, and they changed the image for Tom Cruise.

№ 4. Zootopia

You could turn watching this cartoon into a fun game because there are so many Easter eggs to find here. For instance, on the ice rink, you can see a father elephant with his 2 daughters dressed like Elsa and Anna from Frozen.

When Judy and Nick arrive at the nudist club, you can see the famous Aladdin’s lamp on a shelf.

On the information board in the secret lab, you can notice a parody of the "Sad Keanu" meme photo.

№ 3. Despicable Me

The hidden message is on Margo’s shirt. It has a print with the Lorax, whose cartoon had to wait for another 2 years.

№ 2. Inside Out

When little Riley is playing in the living room, you can notice a magazine on the table whose cover features Colette from Ratatouille.

Especially sharp viewers may have noticed that the cards Riley uses to build a house depict her mother (queen), father (king), and Riley herself.

№ 1. The Boss Baby

Tim quickly replaces the folders while the baby rubs his fingers in anticipation... Many adults smiled at this allusion to Raiders of the Lost Ark. And both heroes were successful!
